Most WWII rules leave you wondering how the Germans
ever won a battle. Often they fought out-numbered
against opponents with equal or superior equipment.
The answer lies in outstanding unit-level leadership.
Kampfgruppe Commander places leadership quality at
the forefront using a unique and fast-paced leader
activation system. Each army fights differently with its
unique command abilities that evolve as the war
progresses.
KC2 recreates all aspects of grand tactical warfare using
a scale of company-sized, multi-stand units. Infantry
battles are as fast-playing and interesting as tank duels.
The game's mechanics are fast and simple, yet full of
historical flavor. Small to medium sized games can be
played in under two hours; larger battles involving whole
divisions in an evening. Suitable for all figure scales from
micro to 20mm. This updated version changes many
details and includes an entirely new artillery system,
revised infantry values, new scouting mechanics and a
formation point system.
Complete with Quick Reference Play Sheet.

Whilst ideally suited to the Peninsular War, Los Tiradores
will work perfectly well for the wider European
theatres when used for smaller battles. With their
card-driven activation system and chain-of-command
concentration the rules bring to the wargamer the feel
of a Corps or Division commander’s experiences.
Many of the systems are designed to increase the sense
of the fog of war and the interlocking unit quality and dice
conventions provide an integrated feel to play.
Copious examples of play are provided throughout and
both Quick Reference Playsheet and Flowcharts ease
the learning process and flow of play considerably.
The authors have written numerous books on the
Peninsular War and have spent several years refining and
play-testing Los Tiradores.
The authors have recently completed a play test which
revealed a small number of anomalies. Los Tiradores is
being updated to incorporate the necessary changes,
and will be released as soon as this is complete.
The rules will be priced at around £10.00 plus P&P.
The format will be A5 booklet with the Quick-Ref
Sheet, Templates and Flow Charts in laminated A4 size.
